I was sent two Windproof Jackets in error after I had order Rain Jackets. The order was sorted out satisfactorily in due course, but I was allowed to keep one of the Windproof Jackets to try. In spite of the lightweight material, it does exactly what it is supposed to do: Keep the wind out. I have been wearing it during cold and windy winter days and when the zip is fully up there is almost no ingress of wind. Nor is there a build-up of perspiration inside. I have been wearing it over reasonably warm clothing and it has now become my usual cycling jacket, even in winter – As long as there is no forecast of rain, in which case I use my Rain Jacket. As with all the Deko items I have purchased, it is well made, with some neat touches: there is an integral flap at the top of the zip to prevent the zip rubbing the neck when fully extended. There are also reflective triangles on the back, although I always wear a high-vis waistcoat for safety reasons. It folds into a very small size and can easily be stowed in a pocket or small bag.
