This light rain waterproof jacket is a very comfortable fit and reliable in the rain and windy conditions. The soft material provides excellent next-to-skin fit and comfort. It is light enough to stow away in a backpack. Reflective elements on the shoulders and lower back area protect you from any injury or road incident in the night.

I purchased one of these rain jackets some time ago. I had reason to use it when caught in a downpour during the summer. To my surprise, it proved completely waterproof, even in heavy rain. Usually water seeps through creases on the sleeves of ‘waterproofs’, but I found no such seepage with this jacket. It is lightweight and easily stowed. It is quite close fitting: I purchased XL, even though I am usually M or L. If used over several layers, it would be good to buy one rather larger than normal fit. Because of its colour and its thin, though seemingly robust, material, it is not really suitable for everyday use – It would soon show marks and road-grime. I use the Deko (black) rain jacket for this purpose. However, for stand-by use, this Sheer Jacket is ideal. Good value for money. It proved excellent in service. Highly recommended. In case you are wondering, I have NO connection with Deko, apart from being a satisfied customer!
